1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using The Oasis platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using The Oasis, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Virtual Currency (Oasis Coins)

Oasis Coins are virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Oasis Coins cannot be purchased with real money
• Oasis Coins cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or converted to real money, cash, or any form of currency
• Oasis Coins cannot be transferred, sold, or traded to other users or third parties
• Oasis Coins have no value outside of The Oasis platform
• We reserve the right to modify, limit, or terminate virtual currency at any time without liability
• Loss of Oasis Coins due to any reason does not entitle you to any compensation

4. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to use The Oasis. All Oasis Coins are earned through gameplay, participation, and the referral program. This is not a gambling service.

5. Skill-Based Gaming

The games offered on The Oasis are games of skill, not chance. The outcome of matches is determined by the player's skill and performance, not by random number generators or luck-based mechanics.

6. Arena Mode

Arena is our skill-based competition mode where players can wager Oasis Coins against opponents:

• 10-Coin Arena: Available 24/7
• Higher-Stake Arenas (25+ Coins): Available daily from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM Central Time
• All Arena matches use Oasis Coins only (no real money)
• Matchmaking pairs players of similar skill levels when possible

7. Echoes (AI Opponents)

The Oasis features AI-controlled opponents called "Echoes" to ensure timely matchmaking. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• Echoes are computer-controlled bots, not real human players
• Echoes are only available in Casual (10-coin) and Standard (50-coin) arenas
• Echoes do not appear in High Stakes arenas—all High Stakes opponents are real players
• To prioritize matching with real players, Echoes only become available after a waiting period (30 seconds for Casual, 1 minute for Standard)
• Echoes are clearly identified in-game via an information icon
• You consent to being matched with Echoes during gameplay in eligible arenas

8. Referral Program

The Oasis offers a referral program where users can earn bonus Oasis Coins:

• Both the referrer and the referred user may receive bonus coins upon successful referral
• Referral rewards are subject to verification and abuse prevention measures
• Self-referrals, fake accounts, and referral fraud are prohibited and may result in account termination
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time

9. User Conduct & Fair Play

You agree not to:

• Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software
• Create multiple accounts (multi-accounting)
• Engage in match-fixing, win trading, or collusion with other players
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to manipulate game outcomes or exploit bugs
• Engage in any activity that disrupts the Service or other users' experience

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without notice.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all Oasis Coins and account data may be forfeited without compensation.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Oasis is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any loss of Oasis Coins, account data, or progress
• We are not liable for service interruptions, downtime, or technical issues
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (which is zero, as no purchase is required)

12. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved as follows:

• Informal Resolution: Contact us first at support@playoasis.co. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days.
• Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration, not in court.
• Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, graphics, logos, game designs, and software on The Oasis are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Oasis, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
